Jackson Township -- One of the largest funerals ever witnessed in this township occurred last Saturday.  The deceased, George Hartman, was widely and favorably known throughout the vicinity.  He leaves a sorrowing wife, a daughter and three little sons and many relatives and friends to mourn his untimely death.  The bereaved family has the sympathy of the whole community.  Rev. N.H. Loose of Shelby officiated.  Remains were laid to rest at Mt. Bethel cemetery.
